Everyone desires to live long, but no one would be old.

But if we have people over and we're entertaining, we have a deck that runs the length of the house and backs onto the bush. So we have nature quite literally on our doorstep. So the bush is lovely. It's quiet except for beautiful bird sounds, which we get at all times of the day. And sometimes we get birds coming in to eat our dog food. At nighttime, we can see and hear possums. And in summer, we do sometimes get snakes, which aren't my favorite. But we haven't had any issue with them, so I guess they can hang around.

Salute to Lionel Messi - the Barcelona superstar has become the first player in UEFA Champions League history to score six - count'em, six! - career hat tricks. Messi was once again marvelous as Barcelona crushed Celtic of Scotland 7-0 in the opening Group C match for both clubs. It was Messi's 40th career treble for club and country in Barca's biggest ever win in the UEFA Champions League competition. Barcelona's head coach Luis Enrique Martinez spoke in Spanish after the match about Messi.

The weather is marvelous today. Why don't we go to the beach?

I was literally thinking the same thing! It will probably get crowed by this afternoon, though.

If so, we can spend the day somewhere else.

We could hang around the part and have a picnic

Great idea. That will be Plan B!
