This year, I am planning a summer vacation with my family. We will be going for 5 days including a weekend in late July. We booked a vacation package to Phuket, Thailand. We were able to get a good deal because we reserved in advance a month ago. We chose a mid-range package that includes airfare, lodging, and local tours. We will stay at a resort, and go sightseeing with a local guide. one of the reasons we chose Thailand as our vacation spot is that I have a soft spot for Thai food. Also, I am thinking about going with my parents to a nearby mountain for two days. I plan to reserve a vacation cabin, grill meat, go hiking and beat the heat in the mountain streams.
