The pet owner population in Korea is at amount 10 million. More and more people are raising dogs, cats, or exotic animals in their homes. To them, pets are no different from family. I recently adopted a dog from an animal shelter. Right away, I took her to the vet for a check-up. The doctor's final diagnosis was that she was very healthy. He gave her vaccinations for diseases like rabies. He also applied heartworm and parasite preventives. The vet then gave me advice on housebreaking my dog and proper training. He was very friendly, and said I could call at any time if anything went wrong with my dog. I plan to have my dog groomed to look prettier soon. I hope she will happy with me for a long time.
