But when my sister and I played with the doll when we were little, unfortunately her original china head got damaged. So there's a new head on the doll, but it isn't quite the same. So I'm going to try to search for one that was just like the original. Even though it's not a perfect doll, I love it because it belonged to my grandma and because I used to play with it when I was a little girl. And I also treasured the fact that my grandmother made the clothes for it. So I was very pleased to get this gift also because I'm not the only granddaughter.
In 1986, Norman Borlaug, an agronomist and Nobel laureate who is widely recognized as the "father of the Green Revolution." established the World Food Prize. This annual international award, known as the "Nobel Prize for Agriculture and Nutrition," recognizes the achievements of individuals who have advanced human development by improving the quality, quantity or availability of food in the world. This year, four individuals share the Prize. All four work to improve the nutritional value of staple foods and to reduce hidden hunger: mineral and vitamin defieciency.
