Talk about starting a business.
Many young people these days aspire to start a business. Working for a company is fine and well, but more people long to be their own boss. Of course, starting a business is no walk in the park. Even if you have a game-changing idea, turning a profit by applying it to a business is a tall order. First of all, starting a business can cost a pretty penny. There are expenses for PR and operational costs, so it often takes a long time before you are in the black. In many cases, a business goes under without any profit at all. There are some people who build on their failure and try again. Even if business is humming early on, it's not easy to keep it up. Good timing is also important when hiring new employees or adding storefronts. Market research on demand for goods and services is needed to expand business.
How is your business going these days? It's difficult, isn't it?
It was at first, but it's getting better. We're getting the hang of it.
You're really brave. I wanted to start a business, but I was so scared.
If I had know how difficult it was, I might not have begun.
