Talk about copyright protection

The more advanced a society is, the better it is in protecting intellectual property rights. Among those rights, copyright refers to the exclusive right to something that was created by someone. Music, videos, books, and articles are all under protection of copyrights.

These days, it's very common to post content online. However you can't post other people's videos or music willy-nilly, if they are copyright-protected. A.I. technology that can block such actions has become very advanced.

Published books also receive copyright protection. If you take content from a book and post it on social media, on a blog, on YouTube, or on an online community, it's a clear case of copyright infringement. Doing so is a big no-no, and is punishable by law.

Where did you print that out from?

It was online, so I printed it.

Really? But the content is from a monthly pulbication.

Oh, I suppose taking content from a book and posting it online can be a problem.

That's right. It's clearly copyright infringement.

You're right. I should tell the person who posted it to stop doing that.
