Don, how long has this been an issue? How long has invasive species been a problem for those of us on planet Earth and is it getting better or worse?

Well, I think we could say it dates from probably the beginning of history or at least the beginning of when people started moving around a lot. Moving plants and animals, sometimes intentionally, sometimes unintentionally. Certainly one of the biggest early examples is the movement of European to the Americas and bringing a lot of their own human diseases and infecting unfortunately those Native Americas who had not been previously exposed to them.
