Talk about medical check-ups.
Medical check-ups are very important because they allow us to find warning signs in our body early on. Privately-run hospitals offer various check-up programs. The cost varies widely depending on the method and range of tests. People who work at companies often have access to medical check-up programs that are funded by the company. The National Health Insurance Service also foots the bill for free check-ups on a regular basis.
Check-ups include basic tests like a blood sample test, a urine test, and a lung capacity test. There might be a gastroscopy or colonoscopy test. You could also get an ultrasound. Eye exams, hearing tests, and dental check-ups are also common. Women also get checked for breast cancer. If there are any abnormal findings after the check-up, there could be follow-up tests like an MRI or CT scan.
When was the last you got a medical check-up?
It was early last year.
Was there anything out of the ordinary?
They found something wrong with em, so I am receiving treatment now.
Oh, I see.
It's a good thing that it was caught early.
