How a dishwasher changed my life.

Before we moved to our new house, we never had room in the kitchen for a dishwasher. No one in my family is inclined to wash up right after a meal, so the dishes would often go undone for days at a time. We tried to take turns washing the dishes, but something always seemed to come up.

When we moved here, we had finally decided to bite the bullet and get a dishwasher. It was our first time moving in to a relatively new house. Before, there simply wasn't enough room for another large appliance. To our delight, we discovered that the dishwasher was actually built into the kitchen this time.

It's impossible to overstate how much the dishwasher has changed our quality of life. Since cooking and eating entails far less work, we order delivery far less often. I've actually come to enjoy cooking much more often, and my husband has found that he has a knack for baking.

In addition to the tidy kitchen, the dishwasher has been beneficial to our wallets and to our health. Cooking and eating at home is cheaper, and we rely much less on microwave dinner or greasy take-out food. I sing my dishwasher's praises to all my friends. I know it has changed my life forever.
