For me, being homesick is a very different thing to missing home. When I'm happy and when I'm doing cool things, I can still miss home. I can still miss my friends and family, but not in such a negative way.Sometimes I just wish I could incorporate them into my life in a more meaningful way than through Skype or through text. I wish I could just see them more often because I'm closesr. But when I'm homesick, when I'm really homesick, then I can feel that in the pit of my stomach. I can feel it in my entire body.

The shea tree is a traditional African food plant. Today it has many commercial uses. Increased trade in shea products, benefiting the economics of many African nations, will be the result of a $13 million, five-year agreement signed this month in Accra, Ghana between the Global Shea Alliance, or GSA, and the U.S. Agency for International Development, or USAID, to promise shea markets worldwide and improve sustainable production in Africa. The shea industry is changing and companies, governments, and donors are investing more in sustainable production and improving the benefit to 16 million women collectors and processors, says Moumouni Konate, President of the Global Shea Alliance.
