The air quality in Korea has been getting out of hand. Fine dust coming from China is a major cause. In the past, yellow dust was an unwelcome guest in the spring. Now, fine dust is a problem all year long. Weather forecasts issue alerts or warnings when there will be fine dust in the air. Many people buy air purifiers for their homes. Children and the elderly refrain from going outside. The windows must be kept shut to block the polluted air. When the fine dust is severe, it makes people's eyes itch. They also get a sore throat. People wear masks to cover up their noses and mouths. I hope we will find ways to reduce air pollution.
