Almost everyone has experienced having a crush on someone. Sometimes, it can be heartbreaking. I also have a tough time because of a lady I was into. She was a co-worker at my first job. I liked her a lot, but she only thought of me as a friend. I tried many times to let her know how I felt. However, it was no use. I felt terrible. I cried my eyes out. I often drank, and my self-esteem dropped. I asked my friends for advice. They told me to move on. It took a long time, but I eventually got over her. Looking back, I think it helped me build character.

I asked my co-worker to go on a date, but she said no.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I feel like I'm going to be single forever.

You'll find someone. You just have to wait.
