Talk about firecrackers you played with when you were a child.

In my childhood, I sometimes played wth firecrackers. I bought them at stationery stores. Then, I set the firecrackers off in a playground. I remember going out at night and playing with firecrackers with my cousins on holidays. We had a blast. I also remember playing with firecrackers at travel destinations. When we went to the beach, lots of people set off firecrackers. Scenes of firecrackers in the night sky above the beach really left an impression on me. Nowadays, my kids sometimes play with firecrackers, just like I did back in the day.

 

Talk about fireworks displays that you went to watch in the past.

There are many fireworks festivals in Korea. More often than not, they are held near beaches and rivers. It's because the fireworks in the night sky are reflected in the water. This makes them a breathtaking spectacle. Fireworks seem to be getting prettier and even more extravagant as time goes by. Recently, I attended a fireworks festival in Seoul. I arrived ahead of time to get dibs on a good seat and waited. By the time the fireworks began, it got very crowded. The fireworks we saw were so amazing, everyone oohed and aahed.
