Using apps to easily buy and sell used goods has become very common. Statistics show roughly a quarter of all Koreans use these apps.

In the past people just threw away items that they didn't need. Now people can use apps sell items that they don't use or they can't return for a refund. This way, others can make use of the items again, preventing a waste of resources. The buyer can get a good price and the seller can earn a profit, so it's a win-win.

Some apps for trading used goods make it easy to buy and sell in the local community. Since the seller is just a stone's throw away, people can meet in person for a sale. The buyer and seller can also chat online to ask about the product, or haggle over the price.
