Talk about the art of calligraphy.

Calligraphy is the act of writing by hand, in a style that shows off your unique charm. You can also draw illustrationos or shadows to add details. It's a good way to distract yourself. More and more people are picking up calligraphy as a hobby these days. Many people also do it for a living.

I often practice the calligraphy with my dad these day. I first got into it when I saw my grandmother's calligraphy at her place. I tried it for the first time with my grandmother that very day, and I have been hooked ever since.

At stationery stores, you can find calligraphy books and purpose-made brush pens. In calligraphy, conrolling the way you apply pressure is most important. You can ease up to draw thin lines, and press down hard for thicker ones.

 I'm practicing calligraphy with my kids these days. It's really great for clearing one's head.

You can create various font styles using a brush pen or other writing utensils.
