Preferring self-guided trips or package tours is a matter of personal choice. Package tours are nice because there is no need to attend to transport, lodgings or food. What's more, you can just follow a fixed schedule, so there's no need to worry about the itinerary. However, there's the drawback of not being able to stick around where you want to, because of time constraints. Also, there are optional tours to choose on site, so there are often additional costs. Visiting designated shopping centers can also be a financial burden. In contrast, self-guided trips require a lot of effort, because each individual must research and decide on everything from departure to return. However, you can choose where to stay and eat. It's also possible to adjust your schedule depending on the local weather or your physical condition. You can also become friends with local residents, and make use of information you learn on site. There are all advantages.
Where did you decide to go for your vacation?
Thailand. I can't choose between a self-guided trip and a package tour.
Both sound fun. You can't lose.
You're right. I'm not complaining.
