Talk about the trade war between the US and China.

The trade war that is under way between the US and China is raising concerns all over the world. The reason for the dispute was that the US had a trade deficit with China for a long time. US President Donald Trump has raised the issue since he was a candidate. He has long argued that China has been making off with American jobs, and that he will impose high tariffs on products made in China. Another reason America has a beef with China is that some suspect China is copying US trade secrets to manufacture goods and exporting them back to the US. With the US throwing the first punch with tariffs on Chinese goods, the Chinese government lost no time in hitting back. They couldn't stand idly by while Washington attacked China for manufacturing and exporting items at cheaper prices. They, too, imposed tariffs on American goods exported to China. Despite many stabs at negotiation, the two countries failed to find common ground.
