Talk about why we should read books.

Books are treasure troves of human wisdom. We often hear that successful people are voracious readers. Various books contain information to expand our knowledge. Books help us to know more, and have a wider perspective of the world. The knowleged we gain from books helps us make better choices in major life decisions. Books also contain stories that enrich us emotionally. We feel various different emotions as we read. That is what makes us more human.

 

Talk about the types of books people read.

I enjoy books on history. There are many books with interesting accounts of Korea's history. They help me learn about historical facts. Also, they help me to understand current events from a historical perspective. I also read books on world history. It's good to know about global trends from past centuries. I also read a lot of modern novels. I read books by both domestic and foreign authors, and I put myself in the main characters' shoes. When I pick up a good novel, I often read all through the night. Recently, I subscribed to a YouTube channel that recommends good novels.

Yes! I finished it yesterday. It was really fun.
