Talk about the benefits of study groups.

These days, there are lots of study groups with different end goals. Most commonly, students form study groups to study together. Job seekers also form study groups to share information. Many groups are aimed at studying english or other foreign languages. The biggest advantage of these study groups is that members can help each other out. They can also stay motivated together. Another advantage is that members form bonds with each other. It's a good way to make new friends.

 

Talk about the study group you participate in.

I am active in an english study group these days. We meet every sunday night to study. Everyone's age and line of work is different. But we can all be friends because of english, our shared interest. We take turns to be the group leader, preparing and presenting a day's session. Learning English and interacting with each other, two hours pass by in the blink of an eye. Each September, we hold an event celebrating the founding of our group. All the members get together to share a meal, and to exchange gifts. I hope our English group will keep going for years to come.

 

How is that study group you joined? Is it helpful?

It's great! There's a really pretty girl. I think she likes me.

That's not the point. You're supposed to be studying for a test.

Oh, right. I've already learned a lot. I think my scores will improve.
