Talk about drunk driving.

Regulations and penalties for drunk driving has continued to be beefed up. Even so, we still witness cases in which innocent people become the victim of drunk driving.

The police in Korea perform DUI crackdowns in various areas, without prior warning. Many drunk drivers are caught red-handed when these crackdowns occur. They many have their license suspended and revoked, depending on how high their blood alcohol level is. They also have to pay heavy fines. Drivers can also be punished for refusing to take a breathalyzer test. Even a passenger can be punished for aiding and abetting a drunk driver.

Drunk driving is a serious crime that can claim the lives of others. In addition to never drinking and driving ourselves, we should also stop others from doing it.

I can't wrap my head around why people drink and drive.

I am with you on that.

It's so self-centered. It puts the safety of others at risk.

They're beefing up penalties, but the number of DUI cases won't drop

It's a terrible problem.

I think everyone needs to step up efforts to prevent others from drinking and driving.
