Talk about musicals.

More and more people in Korea enjoy musicals, and go to see performances often. Last year, a lot of shows were called off because of COVID-19. This year, it is my hope that musical performances will get going again.

Types of musical performances include touring shows in Korea, licensed shows, and original performances. Depending on the scale of the show, they can be performed at lagre or small theaters. Seat types at most musicals are classified as VIP, R, S, or A class seats. Some shows sell non-designated seats via social commerce.

Musical actors include the lead actors, the supporting actors, and the ensemble cast. When there is an actor with a lot of box office clout, the show can sell out quickly, and it's hard to score tickets. Theatergoers that prefer certain shows or actors often go for repeat viewings of the same show.

Do you like musicals?

Me? I am crazy about musicals.

Really? Do you go to watch them often?

I think I go at least once every other month. Of course, I barely got a chance last year because of COVID-19.

If there is a fun show, I watch it several times.
