Talk about redoing the wallpaper in a home.

It has been 10 years since we have moved in to our current home. We recently redid the wallpaper. During the past 10 years, our three children were born. As they went through childhood, the living room and bedroom walls were covered in scribble marks. We didn't mind that the walls felt lived-in. But we decided to redo the walls to create a more cheerful environment.

On the day of, workers from contractors arrived bright and early. They moved the furniture before hangging the wallpaper. It took all day to do the work. Our family had to vacate the apartment while the wallpaper dried. To air out the apartment, we kept all the windows open. By redoing the wallpaper, it felt like we had moved in to a brand-new home.
