Fair play and sportsmanship are most important. Sporting events also boost patriotism. Rooting for a national team unites people. Top-tier athletes often become national heroes after these big events. Next year, Korea will host 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. The whole country will come together to host the event successfully. The Winter Olympics will raise the profile of Korea and bring about benefits for the economy.

The Pyeongchang Olympics are just months away.
