Talk about the practice of taking 10,000 steps per day.
A lot of people I know use a smart watch to keep track of how many steps they have taken each day. It looked appealing, so I got a smart watch for myself. I can use it to record how may steps I've taken, my heart rate, and my sleep patterns. First, I checked how many steps I usually take. If I only went to and from work, I walked about 5,000 steps per day. I like to veg out on weekends, so I walked fewer than 1,000 steps per day if I stayed at home.
I set my goal at 10,000 steps per day, and got to it. When I didn't my steps in outside, I tried to reach my goal by riding a stationary bike at home. I rode it until close to midnight, just to keep my record going. Having walked 10,000 steps daily for over a year, I have lost a lot of weight. I feel much more fit now. I plan to keep at it in the future.
Take a look at this wearable device I just bought.
Is that a smart watch?
Yes, that's right. I use it to check and see whether I've gotten in my 10,000 steps every day.
I see. Is it useful?
Of course. It spurs me on to achieve my goal each day.
That must be really good for you.
